Her journey began as a temp at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), collaborating with Scientific Review Officers and Grants Management Officers. That early exposure sparked her love for research, writing, and building funding pathways especially for under-resourced communities.
Over the years, she has ghostwritten for changemakers, designed healing-centered programs, and secured over seven figures in philanthropic and grant funding for nonprofits, schools, reentry initiatives, and grassroots organizations.
